Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 Mirrorless MFT At the heart of the camera is a 20.3MP Digital Live MOS sensor and a newly developed Venus Engine processor, which both offer dramatically improved processing times over its predecessor. This enables the ability to record 4K video at up to 60 fps, 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording with select settings, Full HD video at up to 180 fps, 12 fps continuous shooting, and sensitivities up to ISO 25600. Also, the camera features built-in 5-axis sensor stabilization, which can work with certain lenses to activate Dual I.S.
2 for highly effective shake correction that can compensate for up to 5 stops of shutter speed. Other improvements include a speedier and more accurate Advanced DFD autofocus system that can lock on in just 0.05 seconds, as well as 6K PHOTO at 30 fps and 4K PHOTO at up to 60 fps. DJI Osmo The Osmo is a handheld 4K camera built onto a single handle 3-axis gimbal stabilizer. It uses the same camera from the DJI inspire 1 drone, which is capable of 4K video at 24 fps or 120 fps at FullHD.
It also takes 12mp JPEG or DNG RAW stills. The camera and gimbal are powered by proprietary rechargeable lithium battery packs. The handle has camera control buttons including pan and tilt and a wifi device can be used to monitor the shot and update settings via the DJI GO app. The footage is shot to a microSD card which is inserted into the side of the camera. Canon EOS 5D MarkII The Canon EOS 5D Mark II was introduced with little fanfare until Vincent Laforet shot the video short, Reverie. Seemingly overnight, filmmakers saw the potential of the full-frame DSLR for video image capture.
We were the first rental house in NYC to offer the 5D for videography. We saw our units used on SNL, numerous commercials, music videos, documentaries and independent projects. The 5D has a 21.1-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with DIGIC 4 Image Processor, an ISO Range of 100-6400 (expandable to ISO L: 50, H1: 12800 and H2: 25600), plus Auto Lighting Optimizer and Peripheral Illumination Correction. It can shoot up to 3.9 fps, has 9 AF points plus 6 AF assist points, a 3.0-inch Clear View LCD (920,000 dots/VGA) and a rugged build. Canon EOS 5D MarkIII Features 61-Point High Density Reticular AF and an extended ISO range of 100–25600 (expandable to 50 (L), 51200 (H1) and 102400 (H2). A newly designed 22.3 Megapixel full-frame Canon CMOS sensor, Canon DIGIC 5+ Image Processor, and shooting performance up to 6.0 fps provide exceptional clarity and sharpness, even when capturing rapidly-unfolding scenes. Additional technological advancements include High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Multiple Exposure mode-all.
The MarkIII can export clean, uncompressed HDMI output to an external recorder, while still being able to record to internal CF or SD cards and monitor the video on the rear LCD display. Red Epic Dragon The RED EPIC with Dragon sensor can capture 6K images which is 9X the size of HD. The 16.5 stops of latitude and resolution offer extraordinary image quality. The EPIC is compatible with PL, Canon, Nikon and Leica lenses. It is capable of 100 fps at 6K, 150 fps at 4K, and 300 fps at 2K. With the PL motion mount the EPIC features a global shutter and internal NDs. All of these attributes allow for reframing options, image stabilization in post and impressive low light performance.
With its compact size, the EPIC is ideal for use with our 3-axis MoVI and Ronin image stabilization units. Sony PXW-FS7M2 XDCAM Super 35 Camera System Sony has improved on the original by adding two important features. The most notable is an Electronic Vari ND Filter which is an LCD layer placed between the sensor and the lens-mount.
The strength of the filter can be assigned to presets or dialled in via the “Variable” wheel on the side of the camera. This allows you to keep the same aesthetics while changing the amount of light that hits the sensor during a scene. Sony has also added an E-Mount Lever Lock – A New Locking Mechanism. The E-Mount is a great lens mount. However, it was made for stills photography lenses, and lacks stability and a rotation-less locking mechanism.
Sony addressed both issues with the new E-Mount Lever Lock. General Electric - UNSEEN STARS General Electric, BBDO & Obscura Digital have received considerable praise for UNSEEN STARS.
Thirty-two projectors were used to produce a light show on the ceiling of Grand Central Terminal honoring the achievements of twelve female scientists and engineers.
